How to Get From Agadir to Taghazout & Tamraght: Complete Transport Guide

Taghazout and Tamraght are located just 20 to 25 km north of Agadir along the scenic N1 coastal highway. Whether you are landing at Agadir Al Massira Airport (AGA) or staying in Agadir city center, reaching the surf coast is simple, fast, and accessible for all travel budgets.

🧳 Travel Tip: If you are traveling with large surfboard bags or heavy luggage, booking a private transfer or a full private Grand Taxi is much easier than taking public buses.

1. Direct Airport Transfer (Most Convenient)

If you fly directly into Agadir Al Massira Airport (AGA), the most hassle-free way to reach Tamraght or Taghazout is by direct taxi or pre-booked private transfer.

Travel Time: Approximately 45 to 60 minutes.
Cost: Usually between 300 MAD and 400 MAD (€30–€40).
Best For: Surfers with gear, families, or late-night arrivals.

2. Shared Grand Taxi (Best Value)

Grand Taxis are the most popular way locals and travelers move between Agadir city and the coastal villages.

Departure Point: The Grand Taxi station at Battoire (Abattoir) in Agadir center.
Cost: Around 10 to 20 MAD per seat (shared) or 100 to 150 MAD to rent the whole taxi privately.
Travel Time: 25 to 35 minutes depending on traffic.

3. Local Public Bus (Line 32)

For budget travelers, the local ALSA bus line 32 runs daily between Agadir center, Aourir (Banana Village), Tamraght, and Taghazout.

Cost: Around 7.5 MAD to 10 MAD per ticket.
Travel Time: 40 to 60 minutes (makes frequent local stops).
Note: Buses run regularly throughout the day, but can get crowded during peak hours and weekends.
